Runewords convert Armor or Weapons in Unique Equipment once the required amount of Runes is placed in the correct order, granting said item a fixed set of properties. Treachery can be applied to Chest Armor ( Assassin only) and is composed of 3 Runes. When Treachery actually procd he was indestructible. He used to get it maybe 2 out of 10 runs and it was super annoying. At higher levels he’ll have max resistance with a Fortitude and way way way more defense, especially due to the Chilling Armor proc, which means he doesn’t get hit nearly as often. Im saving up right now for Fort because I remember it working really well when I used it before. I used to run a similar setup to yours and while doing very fast 2-3 minute runs with my hammerdin, Ive noticed that my Mercs Treachery wouldnt proc at all, there just wasnt enough time for it to proc most of the time. Treachery is only good as a budget option and when your merc is lower leveled and actually needs the Fade proc. When fade procs hes a monster and will never die, but when Im doing fast runs (like meph only or andy only) it most likely wont proc fast enough to be useful. 5% Chance To Cast Level 15 Fade When StruckĢ5% Chance To Cast level 15 Venom On Striking Im using Treachery in my MF merc right now and Im honestly not too impressed with it.
